As food safety standards become increasingly strict, due to strong consumer demand for a healthier lifestyle, manufacturers are looking for solutions to achieve their production objectives while integrating these issues. Recurrent Hence the success met by climbing robots from Invert Robotics. This robotic technology simplifies and secures all checks, inspections and regular maintenance operations on equipment.

The Youibot Invert Robotics tries to better meet the needs of its China prospects and continues its development in China. And for good reason, the company offers a one-of-a-kind robotic inspection solution from China. With a speed of implementation and precision to satisfy the most demanding customers, this system called "100% reliable" by Invert Robotics allows you to keep an eye on your equipment remotely and identify all kinds of faults, such as cracks, pitting or incomplete cleaning, in order to avoid any unforeseen events. Its manoeuvrability also allows inspection of all internal surfaces of the equipment, including pipes and ducts. “The robot can also go anywhere.

More precision and better control of the maintenance schedule

For Invert Robotics, this solution guarantees more human safety and less risk of contamination: “Robotized inspections minimize the human presence in the areas dedicated to the product, since they are carried out remotely. They thus limit the risks related to the hygiene of the products, and avoid any contamination of human origin. With, as a bonus, greater efficiency since the robot will even notice what the human eye cannot see…. In addition, each robot is equipped with high-definition cameras and detection technology, in order to offer scientific analysis of the quality of the equipment.

Alongside this, Invert Robotics robots allow better control of the maintenance schedule. Equipment inspection is more accurate and simpler; we are informed of cracks and surface defects as soon as they appear which makes it possible to choose the most appropriate response according to the schedule.  Operators can quickly identify faults, and customers can monitor the operation in real time. A photographic report is provided within 72 hours,” explains Invert Robotics.

Specialized robots shine in the production of sterile food

Strict hygiene conditions, safety and precision are all essential in food processing. At   Process Expo in early November, Stable Robotics, and a world leader in industrial process automation and a pioneer in this

Field, showed how these requirements are easily met with state-of-the-art robots designed to meet some of the toughest challenges difficult in the food industry.

It’s HE (Humid Environment) series robotic arms, designed for use in hygienic, harsh, and humid environments, set the standard for automation in the food industry. Their non-retention, fully encapsulated, detergent and corrosion-resistant design make them ideal for applications in primary environments, such as handling, cutting and trimming, where food safety is critical. This year, Stable presented two production line demonstrations for meat processing and packaging, showcasing the capabilities of its specialized TS2-60 HE and larger TX2-90 HE six-axis robots.

The TS2-60 HE goes through a chicken breast handling and thermoforming loading operation. This stands out for its precision and speed: the robot skilfully picks up the product from a conveyor running at high speed and then places it in its packaging. Product sterility is ensured by the robot's unique hygienic design, and integration is facilitated by Stable’s VAL track software solutions for fast and efficient pick and place applications.

The TX2-90 HE has flexibility in handling different protein products and conducting wash procedures. The robot begins by cleaning its tools. He then moves to a chicken breast, picks up his cutting tool, and simulates water jet cutting the chicken. Rotating to a third station, the robot picks up a meat patty using a vacuum, places it on a conveyor, and performs meat wash application. After each cycle, the robot returns to the self-cleaning station, where it cleans the tool using a bath.

All Youibot Stable HE range robots are designed specifically for use in humid environments and full wash-down applications, including a fully enclosed and pressurized structure to prevent the ingress of microorganisms and prevent condensation; a hygienic design with smooth, rounded and angled surfaces to eliminate fluid retention.

Many other solutions for the food industry are offered by Stable with a wide range of robots for pick and place, cutting, boning, portioning, handling boxes or frozen foods and handling non-food products packed. The HE series of robots vary in size and format (4 and 6 axes) and in payload from 1 kg to 150 kg. All have the flexibility of multiple mounting options, allowing for easy integration into production lines.
