Nestle has a close relationship with manufacturers, dealers, dealers and distributors.

WEAKNESSES:

  • Much of its sales rely on a few well-known brands. This leaves the company vulnerable to any unexpected change in customer behaviour.
  • The business is heavily dependent on advertisements to influence public sentiment and drive conventional sales. This ultimate results this causes is that the doubtful return on investment.
  • There is a high cost to introduce new brands to complement older, less trendy food items.
  • Many concerns and criticism for high water usage and producing food items that are contaminated.

THREATS:

Government legislation and rates – Government regulations can have an impact on Nestle's market activities. Besides, rising oil prices push the organisation to raise the prices of its goods. This causes that it may decrease the sales volume as if the customers will turn to other available products at low cost.

Rising rivalry: Several CPG firms, including Unilever, is selling related food and beverage products. It is difficult for Nestle to compete in a situation where alternative goods are readily available.

Water shortage – The production of Nestlé is strongly dependent on the use of water. Entry to clean water from less expensive sources has been problematic for the organisation for various reasons. These include rising population, climate change, increasing demand for food and water, increasing waste, wastage of water and over-exploitation of land.

Illegal Rainforest Degradation Scandal – It has faced severe opposition in this respect from NGOs and environmentalists The include the aspect of the poor quality water.

Final Thought

In my opinion, Nestle should not just rely on it's the firm brand name and brand portfolio while not working on the internal weaknesses and taking no precautions against the threats faced by Nestle. It must first work on its water issue and focus on the hygiene and cleanliness of water usage. Also, Nestle must rely on well-known brands or products it is selling now; however, consumer buying behaviour varies from time to time. Nestle needs to focus on the food items it makes it shouldn't be contaminated as it is considered one of Nestlé’s main weaknesses. Nestle is a brand itself, the name itself is self-explanatory therefore it is overconfident over it's the brand name and portfolio and its high ranking which makes it ignore the weaknesses by not working or improving the weaker sides of the business and give the least importance to the threats by not taking pre actions of any sort.

In summing up the blog, the decision of any particular thing should not be taken on a random basis. It should have the capability to consider past experiences, learn from the past plays, and take the right point of the decision. Just make more transparent with what this point is stating: let's suppose we get into the situation where we have the bulk of manual work and are tired of doing each step manually.

Here in this situation, we lack what should be the solution at this stage. Have heard of the Best Business Applications which makes the long hour duration works easy in seconds with taking to the standings of the competitor—considering important decision than moving forward with the critical decision in the life.
