Admission Procedures in Engineering Colleges

With the help of engineering college admission, students may use and improve their scientific and practical knowledge to investigate, develop, build, and design a variety of cutting-edge systems, machines, and processes. An exclusive admission committee established by the college oversees the admission procedure for the majority of Bangalore's engineering institutes. However, admission standards are developed in accordance with AICTE and State Government directives. To pursue a highly regarded technical education, students can enroll in any engineering institution in Bangalore for any field of their choosing.

Engineering Admission Process:

  • The Government of Karnataka issues the admission matrix and sets the admission standards for Bangalore's engineering institutes.
  • Out of the total number of seats, the Common Entrances Test (CET) administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) fills 45% of the seats, and the COMEDK (Common Entrances Test administered by the Private Managements Association) fills 30% of the seats, and the management quota fills 25% of the seats.
  • Please take notice that only students who are Karnataka residents and have attended school there for seven years or more are eligible to take the CET, but both Karnataka residents and non-residents of Karnataka are eligible to take the Comed-K Entrance Exam.
  • There are no openings for admission to the Best Engineering Colleges in Bangalore through AIEEE Counseling.
  • Additionally, applicants must achieve the minimum eligibility requirements of 45% in PCM for general category applicants and 40% in PCM for SC/ST applicants in order to be admitted to Bangalore's engineering colleges.

The undergraduate engineering programs are four-year full-time courses. The college offers a variety of fields, from which students may select one. You must have a 10+2 diploma from a board that is recognized and have passed the required subjects of math, physics, and chemistry.

  1. Post-Graduate Programs (M. E. or M. Tech):

There are many different engineering-related fields from which to choose for the master's degree program. Students can pursue it after earning a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology. It is a two-year full-time study.

  1. Doctoral Program in Engineering (Ph. D):

The Ph. D program in engineering is a three-year advanced research-focused program. Each college has a different policy about the course's length. For consideration for admission to the Ph.D. program, candidates must have earned their engineering master's degree.

In addition to the carefully designed course structure, engineering placements give students a chance to see a return on their investment (ROI).
