Types of Bags and How to Carry Them

Is your wardrobe lined with bags of different types? Here are four of them which you’d probably be using a lot, and a little explanation on how they should be worn and used.

A Top Handle Bag

This type is often opted for by those who take style, class, and elegance quite seriously. A top handle bag is often carried in their hands or on the crook of the elbow. Some women prefer draping them on their forearms, too. Whichever of these ways they choose to carry them, it is mostly about ‘looking right’ or ‘looking good, classy, and stylish, and people get a good view of the bag and perhaps its brand, too.

You can find a range of these leather bags and classy leather wallets for women online. However, if there is one thing to keep in mind, it is that you should never overload a top handle bag in a way that it becomes heavy, uncomfortable, and inconvenient to carry.

A Tote Bag

A tote bag is just what you might need while you are off on your errands and daily runs. Some even take a tote bag to work. The thing about this type of bag is that it is super spacious and can hold all of the things you stuff in it. A tote bag is meant for slinging on your shoulder, and might be the most convenient type – whether you want to grab your car keys or chuck your half-eaten sandwich in while on a train, this is just the perfect thing.

However, you need to make sure you don’t overload your tote bag and end up having aches and pains. Ideally, you would switch shoulders every now and then just so one side of you wouldn’t feel exhausted. Also, try to stick to a decent size so you wouldn’t be tempted to throw in all that you can!

Cross Body Bag

This is quite the chic type and is great for just anybody. It is worn diagonally, and so, never becomes a hindrance to almost any activity you would be doing. You don’t have to worry about straps sliding off nor do you have to hold on to it for any reason. Carrying a cross-body bag makes you look carefree. However, the rules do apply here, too. A cross-body bag that is too heavy may not feel or look as chic as it should!

A Backpack

A Backpack is super useful and convenient, but only when you carry it right. When carried the right way, a backpack should not cause you any discomfort. High school students have a common habit of carrying their backpacks on one shoulder or carrying them way too low.

Ideally, you would wear your backpack on both shoulders and keep it at mid-height so you wouldn’t be stressing your shoulders too much. Look for backpacks that have wide straps, preferably with some padding to make them more comfortable to carry. Consider this essential if you are carrying a bag that is relatively heavy. ???????
