5000 years ago yoga was started in indus-saraswati civilization. Yoga was mentioned in rig veda(collection of text which consists of rituals, mantras and song) . This is undoubtedly one of the biggest creations in human history.
Yoga provides answers to the majority of the disease and human issues.
There is a solution to any physical or mental issue which the human body might face.
It was developed by rishis and brahmans who recorded their training in Upanishads. This was then developed and turnout to be what we know as yoga.

This is a debatable topic that is doing alone good for weight loss or not. But like exercise yoga combined with proper food and lifestyle provide you with the desired result. Daily practice of yoga does provide you with a sense of relief, makes you feel stress free and makes you desire for healthy food rather than bad food.
Thus overall it does provide you with the result that you desire but condition applied that you practice it on a daily basis.

Adho mukha svanasana - Downward dog pose : With the daily practice of this asana your arms, thighs , hamstring and thigh get stretched and thus increase your strength along with that your abdomen muscle get the proper massage. This asana ensures proper blood circulation and concentration and proves to be an excellent asana to be included and definitely part of my list of asanas for weight loss.
Tadasana - Mountain Pose : Tadasana is very effective for your knee, thighs, legs, back , arm and shoulder.

This is one of the ultimate asana. This asana works on almost every part of your body and boosts your core muscles. This asana works on your arms, legs, works on your abdomen, muscle works on your digestive system, balances your metabolism and provides freshness to your body both mentally and physically.
Doing 10 to 12 surya namaskar daily will burn lots of calories and will boost your weight loss journey.
Trikonasana - Triangle pose
Trikonasana improves your digestion and reduces your fat near the waist and belly region. This asana helps to build muscle near your thighs and strengthen your hamstring muscle and reduce or prevent hamstring injuries. Burns fat near belly region especially side belly fat,
This asana is definitely recommended for those suffering from belly fat issues and so I included this asana in my list of asana for weight loss.
Other habits along with asana which will boost you weight loss journey are :

As with intermediate fasting proper detoxification takes place , calories burned at the same time you are not putting more calories into your body so you are saving lots of calories. It also increases your metabolism and immunity.
