Science has excelled in all domains. Artificial technology has broadened the horizon of fashion and correction in the human body. The human eyes come in many colors, and they are determined naturally in an individual. We do not have control over it, and we cannot change it permanently. The technology and innovation of lenses temporarily make it possible for us to change our eye color for fashion purposes. One can use it as an alternative for spectacles for a short period. You can get clear or coloured contact lenses based upon your own choice and liking and change your look.

People with chronic use of contact lenses would know how difficult it is to use and manage them. They might be feasible and easy to handle, but it is hard to take care of them; the lens can go wrong, it can dry, it could tear, and much more. The lens is not a cheap investment, and it is essential to take care of it in the best way. You must know how to wear them correctly, how to take them off and how to give the best care to them.

Here is your guide towards these three essential questions to help you avoid any problems that might occur.

  1. How to wear contact lenses: Wearing lenses could be easy and challenging based on how much practice you have. If you have a daily habit, it will take a few seconds for you, but it might take a little time if you are starting to get a hold of it. All you need to do is this:

  • Take out the lenses one by one from the case.
  • Soak it in the lens solution for 10 seconds and rub your finger slowly around it.
  • Place the lens on top of your index finger's nib.
  • Make sure your lens is straight and is not overlapped or wrinkled.
  • If your lens loses its round shape while it is on your fingertip, soak it in the solution for ten more seconds.
  • Open your eye and gently place the lens on your pupil
  • It might cause you irritation for a few seconds, but it will settle in soon
  • Do not blink your eyes too much when you place the lens, or else it will overlap and come out
  • You can use a comforter if your eyes are itching too much or you notice a redness
  • Move your eye around to see if your lens is perfectly fixed, and you are good to go

  1. Taking off the contact lens: After a tiring day, taking the lens off seems challenging, but it is harmful if you delay it. Taking the lens out is more accessible than putting it in all you have to do it:

  • Please wash your hands and dry them with a proper towel
  • Keep your pupil straight and gently move your index finger on the eye
  • Once you locate the lens, pinch it out of the eye
  • After taking the lens out, you must clean and soak it in the solution
  • For no inconveniences, it is better to take the lens out timely and according to the prescribed hours

  1. How to take care of your contact lens: Your contact lens will survive as long as you take care of them and maintain them. Without maintenance, there is a high chance that your lens might start acting up and go dry or lose its shape in no time. Here are some quick tips on making sure that your contact lens is in good use.

  • Clean them: No matter if you use your lens daily or once in a while, you must always clean them before wearing them. Our eyes are super prone and sensitive to any impurities, and if you put in a dirty lens, it is only natural and obvious that there will be immense irritation.
  • Do not use extra lubricants: The person selling the lens to you will prescribe or provide a solution with the kit. It is a liquid that is used as a lubricant while putting the lens in the eye. It would be best if you did not use anything else other than that.
  • Wash your hands before applying: You should always clean and dry your hands before putting in your lens. It is also essential that your nails are clean, or it might cause problems.
  • Wear your prescription: Some people wear lenses for fashion, and some use them for medical purposes. Whatever your reason is, always take a recommendation from an expert.

Everybody likes coloured contact lenses but runs away from maintaining them because it is hard to keep them healthy and running long. You must never forget that following these tips will only benefit you and keep the risk of any adverse effects. Style yourself but stay safe at the same time.
