How to Find Your Passion ?” a Guide for Everyone Who Is Tired of Their Work.

Finding your passion can be hard. It's even harder if you're tired of your job and don't know how to take the next step in life. Successful people can tell you that one of the keys to their success has been finding their passion and aligning it with their work.

So how does one find his or her passion? Here are some tips for figuring out what you love and making a career out of it:

Accept Rejection

Trying to figure out your passions can be difficult, and not everyone will understand what you’re trying to do. In fact, you might even get rejected by family or friends who think they know better than their own kids.

It's so easy to get discouraged when people don't understand what you're doing. When they tell you that it won't work or that it doesn't matter—that can be hard. But it's important not to let yourself give up just because a few people have a negative opinion about your passions.
It might feel like the world is telling you what to do, but this is your life. You have the right to make your own decisions about what you want for yourself. Don't let anyone steal that from you!

Deciding what you want

Figuring out your passions is not an easy process. It can be tough to tell if you're ignoring what is right for you or if you're just lost in the noise of everyday life. But this decision is a big one, so it should be taken seriously.

If you have a sense of what you want to do with your future, but it doesn't feel like "your thing", then there are a few ways to figure it out. First, take stock of the skills and interests that you have and see how they might fit into possible career paths. Then, try to find someone who has succeeded doing what you think might work for you, and ask them about their journey. Finally, keep an open mind as you explore other possibilities—you may find that something entirely different from your original idea fits better!

Whatever the case may be, make sure to explore all avenues before settling on a specific career decision.

Finding the time for your passions

Sometimes people get so caught up in their “day job” that they forget to spend time on what they love. This is especially true for people who work in the creative arts, like musicians, artists, and writers.

For example, my friend Jane is a singer/songwriter who spends all of her time performing. She's tired of not having any time to write new music or do anything else she loves outside of her performance schedule.

If this sounds familiar to you, it might be time to make some changes in your life. One way to find a balance between your passions and your day job is by making space for them in your life.

What are the things you love doing? How can you carve out some time for them?

Maybe you can save up enough money so that you can take a few months off from work and pursue your passions full-time. Or maybe you can use shorter breaks throughout the year to have more time for fun.

Being self-aware and understanding yourself

Whether you're trying to find your passion or figuring out how to pursue it, you need to start by taking time for yourself.

Take some time for yourself and ask yourself some questions: What are you interested in? What makes you feel good? What excites you?

Once you know what truly excites you, do more of it! Doing what makes us happy will lead us to our passions. When we're doing something that's not our passion, we might feel unhappy. But when we're following our dreams, we never want the day to end. We enjoy every minute because it feels right. It just clicks. And that's what passion feels like too.

Being self-aware is key to finding your passion—and making the most of it once you do.

Overcoming rejection from family and friends

Some people think they know better than you do.
Maybe you’ve been dreaming of becoming a rock star since you were six years old, but your family wants you to become a doctor instead. Maybe your friends want to plan on marrying and having babies right away, while you’re still trying to figure out what it is that makes you happy.

If this sounds like you, then we’ve got some bad news: It can be difficult to convince others that what you want is the best choice for yourself.

But there are ways around it: If your family and friends don’t seem convinced by what makes sense for them, try asking them about their own dreams and passions. What did they always want to be when they grew up? How did they imagine their lives would turn out? Surely if they knew what made them happy when they were younger, they should trust it more now.

Likewise, if their argument is that the world won't accept your dream, then tell them that you will prove them wrong - and that if it doesn't work out, then at least you tried and learned something new along the way.

Finding a mentor who will help you reach your goals

If you're feeling lost, the next step is to find a mentor. Find someone that you can relate to and learn from.

You want to find someone who has been in your shoes and has tried what you're trying to do. A mentor can help with everything from brainstorming new ideas, getting advice on how to handle difficult situations, or even just giving you a pep talk when things get tough. Mentors will also give you hope and show you that it's possible to succeed in spite of any setbacks.

Even if they don't know your specific situation, they will be able to offer general advice that's relevant for whatever challenge is sitting in front of you. And that's what matters most: having someone by your side who knows what you're going through and wants nothing more than for you to succeed!

Set intentions for pursuing your passion

The most successful people in the world are those who have set intentions to pursue their passions. They know that what they are passionate about is what they are going to excel at, and then they go after it.

I was no different than you. I would look at the lives of these successful people and wonder how in the world did they get there? Then I realized it wasn’t luck that got them where they were, but rather it was setting intentions for a future outcome, consistently taking action toward those intentions, and not looking back.

Creating a plan for your future

Once you find your passion, it's time to think about what you can do with it. What do you hope to accomplish with your life? Where do you want to go?

We'll take a look at creating a plan for your future and how to start making more money by doing what you love:

  • Define your passions: Figure out the one thing that really lights you up and start exploring that
  • Research salaries: Research salary ranges and see where traditional jobs in your field fall on the spectrum
  • Get creative: Think of ways to make money from your passion (ex, designing t-shirts)
  • Consider where you want to live: Where would be best for pursuing your passion?

Conclusion:

I would like to say that finding your passion is a journey. It can have many twists and turns, but you will eventually find it if you keep searching. I believe that having a passion is important because it keeps us excited about life in general.

If we don’t have something to look forward to every day, then what is the point?
