Gestures That Portray Love, Care, And Warmth

We all have relationships in our lives whom we love dearly-- Parents, siblings, friends, lovers, and partners. However, expressing to them the depths of your love is the most challenging part to do. You feel like telling them how much their presence means to you, but somehow unable to do so. Sometimes the feelings are expressed with tears of joy and love in the eyes. Expressing is important; therefore take the non-verbal road to make your feelings heard and felt. Say it out loud with your gestures and actions.

  1. Follow Up with the person: One way to show your care and concern is to remain in touch with the person. Constantly, call and text people to ask about their health, work, and life. If you know, someone has been unhealthy or going through some problem in life, follow up with them. Give solicited advice and act from a place of sheer kindness and compassion.

2. Take Interest in Their Interest: Two people are bound to have different interests, likes and dislikes. At times, it's good and refreshing to do something different, something that is beyond your comfort zone. Also, it's very important that you take an interest in your partner’s activities, even if your taste differs from it. This way, you can both connect strongly and learn to have mutual respect’s viewpoint and preferences in life. Your partner will appreciate this gesture of yours, highly.

3. Spend Quality Time: With some people, spending time can do wonders whenever you can spend time with your friends and family members. Visit homes, organize get-togethers, celebrate events. If you are a working woman; make sure you spend at least an hour with your kids. Make a routine to have a meal together and discuss everything but not work. As a family, connect on a deeper level. Stay connected more emotionally than physically through this gesture.

4. Give Gifts: Gift-giving can strengthen relationships and become the vehicle to speak your feelings. You do not have to wait for a birthday, anniversary or Valentine’s Day to give gifts. You can do it otherwise as well. When your mom cooks a dish of your choice, you can appreciate her with a gift. When your siblings achieve something great, motivate him or her through gifts. Do not wait for the occasions to show up, rather make your occasions and give gifts. Pass on customized gifts to your relationships because these are sentimental in appeal; thus strumming the heart chords in the right manner.

5.Show Understanding: Understanding one’s feelings and thoughts is important in a relationship. You need to understand the point of view and opinions of your parents, siblings, partners, friends with an open mind. Show respect and regard for what they think instead of having a hostile attitude. In situations of the fight, be the one who wishes to resolve things without making matters worse for the other one.

6.Feel The Pain: Do not be a cold-blooded human being. Be a person who is sensitive to recognize other people’s problems. Feel the pain when your dearest ones are in trouble. Lend a supportive hand and a shoulder to lean on. Be the one they can count on like 123 when all they hit the bottom rock.

7. Spread Happiness: Self-love and happiness are important. But, you also have to ensure that people around you are joyful as well. Never hurt anyone’s feelings intentionally verbally or nonverbally. Do more things that bring a wide curve to their faces. Also, try to find happiness in the cheerfulness of your closed ones.

When you cannot say what you feel; let these gestures do the talking for you.
