U.S telecoms and mass media corporation, Charter communications ( Currently branded as Spectrum) is known for its webmail service. After the collaboration, charter.net offers spectrum webmail and a wide range of excellent services through its spectrum internet subscription. If you have an old charter.net email account, the company offers you the same services.
Spectrum subscribers can create seven webmail from each account. Spectrum username holders receive a free spectrum, while those who have created charter.net mail before the company has rebranded to Spectrum, can still avail of the services. How can I log into my charter.net or spectrum.net email account?
Since the Charter communications have rebranded as Spectrum, the charter login??????? page no longer exists. For logging into your charter.net email accounts, you will have to visit the spectrum.net website or you will directly be directed through it. Here is how it works!
- You can log in either through a web browser or mobile app
- For charter login or spectrum email login, search www.spectrum.net/login
- Or visit the Spectrum home page
- Once the page opens, click on the sign-in option
- If you are an old customer who has created an account with charter.net before the company rebranded or signing for the first time, a form requesting your ZIP code will appear on your screen
- In this case, you need to enter the zip code and press on “continue”
- A new login page will open titling “Enter your sign in info”
- Enter the spectrum/charter username or email address
- You can create the username by clicking on “create a username”
- Provide the password
- If you are logging through your personal computer, you can tap on the remember me button to keep you logged in. Do not do this if you are on a public system
Additional email address of charter/spectrum
A spectrum subscribe can create up to seven email addresses. The primary or say administrative email address would have access to all your alternative email addresses that you can create for household members or other. Each email address would be provided with a separate inbox.
Once you have set up your administrative email username you can create other email addresses as well. Follow these simple steps to create additional email addresses
- Open spectrum.net as we did it before
- Log in to your spectrum account
- Click on the link appearing on the top “My Account”
- A list of associated emails with your account will appear on your screen. Tap on the “Add User”
- Enter all the requisite details of the user
- Now agree to the Spectrum terms and conditions
- Now select the “create a username” to create a new standard username
- There is an additional option to upgrade any username to an administrative user.
- You can visit the settings >my account and modify it to monitor the parental control of standard accounts
How can I recover a forgotten spectrum/charter password or username?
- Open the Spectrum log in page
- Click on the “Forgotten username or password”
- On three options appearing on your screen, choose one of the “Get Username,” “Get Password”, and “Get Password and Username”
- Now enter the email address or the phone number you offered while registering into your account
- Or you can also offer the Charter or Spectrum account number and your last name to verify your authentic identity
- Fill in the Captcha
- Press on the Continue icon
- Depending on the verification method you selected, a verification code will be sent to you
- Enter that 6-digit verification code
- For the forgotten password, type a new password and confirm it.
- That’s all! Now you can visit the home page again and log in through new credentials.
